History
From very humble, primitice beginnings in
1914 with only 10 students, Pisgah Industrial Institute grew and
progressed through the leadership of several dedicated self-supporting
Seventh-day Adventist families. At one time there was a small hospital
on campus and the school offered a two-year Practical Nursing course
as well as the regular class work for high school. In 1951, the
Carolina Conference of Seventh-day Adventists bought the school
and changed the name to Mount Pisgah Academy.
